Participation of ACTO in CoP 9 - CBD
ACTO has participated of the Ninth Conference of the Parts of the Agreement on Biological (COP9 - CDB) Diversity, in the city of Bonn, Germany, among the days 19 to 29th of May,2008, organizing diverse public activities (side events) on biocommerce, tourism and protected areas, Andes-Amazon Hall for the promotion of biocommerce products, as well as a closed event to present the draft proposal to the Plan of Action on Amazon Biodiversity.
PRESS RELEASE - PARTICIPATION OF THE AMAZON COOPERATION TREATY ORGANIZATION (ACTO) IN COP 9
The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO), in the context of its responsibility to contribute to the sustainable development of the Amazon basin from an integral and ecosystem perspective, will participate in the Ninth Conference of the Parties (CoP9) of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), which will take place in Bonn, Federal Republic of Germany, from 19 to 30 May 2008.
